Edwina Broadbent moved to Cornwall in 2002, drawn by personal and family connections and inspired by the wild, elemental beauty of its landscape and coastline. The natural environment continues to nurture and inspire her painting.

Working primarily in oils, Edwina also enjoys the directness and spontaneity of coloured inks, exploring different approaches to capturing the character and atmosphere of her surroundings.

She is a member of the St Ives Society of Artists and Penzance Studios, and regularly participates in Cornwall Open Studios.
