Steve Slimm
Steve Slimm is a long-established and popular painter of atmospheric land and seascapes, capturing the romance and light of the Cornish moors and coves.
Born in the West Midlands and later living in the Cotswolds, he moved to Cornwall in 1970, where he began painting seriously under the guidance of John Miller.
Exhibiting since 1979, Steve has developed a highly personal style that blends tradition with emotional intensity, moving beyond realism into expressive landscapes.
Influenced early by Turner, he now works mainly in mixed media, including emulsion, acrylic, and oils, and his atmospheric works are held in collections worldwide.
