Juliette Peterson

Daughter of gallery co-owners Sally Peterson and Colin Caffell, is a 24-year-old ceramicist from West Cornwall. She’s known for her delicate porcelain “rotten apples”, playful but pointed sculptures that highlight modern over-consumption - especially the huge amount of food the average UK household throws away each year.

Alongside her sculptural pieces, she also creates stoneware mugs decorated with local imagery, including the iconic Men-an-Tol, Penwith’s ancient holed stone tied to Cornish folklore and healing rituals.

Her pieces blend Cornwall’s landscape, old symbolism and a sharp awareness of the world we live in today.
